THE CELEBRATION

 

Host: Dayton Country Club 

 

Date: October 17, 2022 1:00 PM Shotgun Start  (Lunch at 11:30, Dinner to Follow Play)

 

Purpose: To offer a year-end playing opportunity paying tribute to a united golf community. The event brings together all our associations and provides an opportunity to present year-end awards, celebrating our past year's accomplishments as we look forward to next season.

 

Entry Fee: $500 per 4 person team ($125 per player) Entry includes: greens fees, cart, range, prizes, and year end awards banquest. Banquet only option available for $40 per person.

 

Entry Deadline: Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 11:59pm

 

Eligibility: The Miami Valley Golf Community

 

Format of Play: 18 Holes of 1-2-3 Better Ball Play

       On Holes 1,4,7,10,13,16- One Best Ball Will Be Used

       On Holes 2,5,8,11,14,17- Two Best Balls Will Be Used

       On Holes 3,6,9,12,15,18- Three Best Balls Will Be Used

 

Groupings Available: Groupings will be emailed to addresses provided in entry and on www.miamivalleygolf.org.
 

Dress Code: Clothing that respects the traditions of the game is required. A non-metal spike is required.
 

Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions. 

 

Team Composition: Teams may be comprimised of either gender or mixed.

 

Tee Markers: Ladies will play from approximately 5300 yards, Men will play from approximately 6300 yards.

 

Ties: Ties will be broken using the USGA Recommended method

 

Weather: If the weather will not allow golf to be played we will still have the Evening Celebration. Proper refund will be given.
